SPOILER is a good protocol - but it's not perfect and it's only motor racing after all - what have I just said! The race is in the past - the result is immutable! Indeed, the ubiquity of media and the proliferation of media channels means that things are "new" news only for a few minutes these days. So, for me, I don't even bother trying to record a race for the purpose of later watching it in blissful ignorance, because most times the result has been blown one way or another! So even though (here in Australia) almost all the F1 races are broadcast live at funny times late at night or in the early hours of the morning, I just sit up and watch live - why not! Knowing that it's happening right now and could go any way is the thrill. Another thing - it's funny - over the last few years Ferrari have been struggling so badly that now no-one expects them to win anyway. So now, if someone puts SPOILER in the heading of an email, I would guess that something really good probably happened, Ferrari-wise. I mean, none of us even posted anything about the Australian GP last week because there was no really outstandingly good news for Ferrari. Cheers, Grahame
