Echo those sentiments except for the winkies on "don't do it again"!

Most car forums that I am in, including this email list and Ferrari Chat, have spoiler rules for various races. Almost everyone should be familiar with them by now, the Ferrari List spoiler rule has been in place for at least 10 years, probably since 1997 when I first signed up.

Every season we have someone who forgets or is new and so this is a good time for a gentle reminder that race results should not be posted in email subject lines and, as I think Fellipe pointed out for gmail users, not even in the first few lines of the email.

It is a courtesy for those of us who get up in the morning or the day after and want to have the thrill and excitement of watching the race without knowing how it turns out.

After all, you wouldn't want to settle down into your seat in a movie theater to watch a mystery film and have the guy in the seat next to you whisper as the opening credits roll:  "You're going to love this movie, I've seen it twice already and I never would have guessed that the wife did it!", would you?

Thanks everyone!

John

Hi Stephen,

Good on you - watching live, even in the early hours - it's the only way in my view - anything else is just history.  Sorry that all your happy tifosi enthusiasm got jumped upon here - we can understand the pov and my personal philosophy is "illegitimi non carborundum".  Nevertheless, remember, don't do it again! ;)  ;)  ;)

Cheers,

Grahame

I am sorry, I was so excited that Ferrari won , I got up at 2:30 am to watch so I am not in a good time zone either.

You're killing me, please put SPOILER on your subject lines on the mornings of F1 races. Not all of us are in a timezone that we can watch it live. I prefer to watch the race not knowing what is going to happen.

Guess, I will take the 308 for a victory lap, b4 doing the belts, waiting on a tool from Unobatinun.
