I want to say prices were 30-40% greater than US spec cars at the time. However, the CEO of Maserati offered us an MC-12C for 850k Euros that evening if we took delivery in Italy. Offered us 3 days at Fiorano with the test team to learn how to drive it too.

Doug/List,

I did look at the stickers, but frankly, was so put off by the guy working there (and talked with my tour guide about it), that I've forgotten what they were....  Maybe Erik can help us out in that regard.

Erik - saw your other post about the invite - very cool, would love to see pics someday....

Thanks all,

George P.

George â did you get a gander at the price?  More, less, same, sorta the same as compared to lower 48?

I went to the Ferrari dealer in Beijing last year - the guy there was the most arrogant, pompous AH in all of China, I'm guessing.  Wouldn't allow pictures taken of the cars in the showroom (what, are Ferraris now some big Chinese national secret???).  Ok, fine, I know what  458 looks like - I just took pictures through the front windows!

And in Shanghai, there were no cars at all in the showroom - they had all been taken to the auto show which was running concurrent with the Grand Prix.

When we went to Shanghai's World Financial Center (had drinks in the 92nd - 93rd?? - floor bar), I saw a sign that the SE Asia Ferrari dealers were having a meeting there - and they didn't even invite me!  sigh.....

As far as driving skills go, which Dale mentioned, the Chinese are either the very best drivers in the world, or the very worst!
