I've had two exotics under State Farm - a Porsche 968 and a Ferrari 328. Both cars were totalled in accidents during ownership, within 7 to 9 months of purchase. Both accidents were pretty 'odd-ball' to say the least. State Farm paid both claims, and provided restitution for more than I paid for the cars in both cases. Then again, both cars were worth less than a current-model SUV, so the dollar-value of the claims might have been a factor in the smoothness of the process.
I dealt with Hagarty too, and got the cold-shoulder because of the nickel-and-dime tickets I had in SC when I first bought the 308. So I waited it out, and after a couple of years went back to them and they took me in. I had a couple of years with Very-High premiums before Hagarty took my calls, but it was worth the wait. I pay less for my 308 than I do for my daily driver.

I know we hit this topic every so often, but I'm dealing with it now.
Do any of you use State Farm for your exotics? If so, have any of you had a claim with them on an exotic and what was your experience?
I've been with American National (ANPAC) and have been very happy with them (no claims), but State Farm is offering me similar coverage for more than 30% less than what I'm now paying. That's pretty dramatic but I don't want to be penny-wise/pound-foolish if State Farm is a PITA for claims.
Thanks!
