1981 308 GTSi: I decided to paint my mirror today.
The sun has done its damage on it and I just had my car repainted (red), so the
contrast will be more attrractive. I could not figure out how to do
it.
I unscrewed the 2 small bolts holding the
mirror support to the door. I unscrewed the allen-key bolt. But I stopped
there with the mirror hanging down. How do you undo the 4 wires
?
Funny thing is when I went to get my car after the
paint job, I noticed the mirror wires hanging. I said to the painter, laughing
out loud, hey you forgot my mirror. He said not to worry it takes just a couple
of minutes. I turned around and he did it. I wished I had watched
him.
