    I'm sure some of the more senior List members, like myself, have experience with British Cars because that's all we could afford.   A Ferrari in those days was nothing more than a dream!

 

     Sure they're under powered,  quirky, and leak oil, and Lucas more than earned its reputation, but they still were alot of fun!   My interest in Triumph, MG, and Healey eventually brought me to this forum. :)

I've yet to own a British car but will soon.

A friend just picked up a '61 Mini with a Cooper S drivetrain...awesome car!

I can't wait to drive it again this weekend.

So, Lotus Elan or Europa TC??

Just read this morning's digest - as opposed to my usual mass delete - and pondered all the British car bashing.

Its funny that about all other car guys revere Ferraris - and Ferrari guys despise everyone elses cars.  I wonder if that says something about the cars - or the people...
