Oh crap - I sent the fake Doug $5K  I put it in the mail General Delivery "Spain" since the message did not say where to send it.   I hope the scammer doesn't find it.

Received the standard plea for money scam from "Douglas LeGrand" this AM - some of you probably rec'd the same email.  It's a standard "need money" email (see below) saying while in Spain he was robbed, etc and needs money to settle with the hotel and get home -

It's a scam - Douglas probably has no idea his email was hacked though giving some criminal his Ferrari List email address.

Please don't be concerned about Legrand - it's a scam!

Scam email -
Hope you get this on time, sorry I didn't inform you about my trip to Spain for a program, I'm having some difficulties here because I misplaced my wallet on my way to the hotel were my money and cellphone were kept.
Presently my passport and my things are been held down by the hotel management pending when I make payment.

I need you to help me with a loan of  $3,150 to pay my hotel bills and get myself back home. I've been to the embassy and Police, but they are not responding to the matter effectively,I'll appreciate whatever you can afford to assist me with, I promise to refund you back your money as soon as I return, let me know if you can be of any help? ASAP.
I don't have a phone where I can be reached. I am so confused right now.
Please let me know immediately. Thank you.
