I agree with Jim, except if they get your email password, most sites will email you your forgot password to your email account or a link to change it/authorize the computer to access.
The lowly email become the top of the food chain. 
 
Another solution get a usb thumb drive secured to your car keys with a password protected file on it that has all your passwords then you only have to remember 1 password.
 
of course your still expose if if your email is hacked.
