I plan to be there for one of the days...not sure which and not sure what tickets I'll end up with.

I learned my lesson with Indy and will not be investing a vacation into a first year race.

I'll be visiting my sis in San Antonio that weekend and will drive up to check it out.

If it looks properly executed, we may try for an official trip next year.

Something fisy is going on
Not to long ago all the seats were sold out for this race according to the official web site
Then I got an email about the funding for the race from the state of texas is being held up
Then I get an email from the track that seat are available in a great section without the premium bullshit that they have been hawking
What gives ?
The tickets are in sec 23 turn 15 and are $400 for all 3 days
And boy did they mess up the start time they say the race will start at 0800
