By any chance have you also tried the G27 setup, which I see has a third (clutch) pedal?

I don’t play all that much but the adjustability and range of controls offered is pretty comprehensive. Force feedback is enough to do everything you can without a full simulator. I use mine with one of the racing/gaming seats that has the holder for the wheel and pedal box and it’s pretty sweet. With GT5 and a 3-D TV it’s about as close as you can come without something costing five or six figures…

Anyone able to offer first-hand views on Logitech Playstation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel? It seems quite well reviewed on Amazon, and is available for $65 (including shipping). I'm interested in it as much or more for its potential usefulness during the track off-season as for simply playing games. |
