I feel sorry for the fools who thought it a good idea to leave an automobile in an Underground parking garage somewhere in downtown NYC or NJ....guess some folks didn't think that 'Storm Surge" actually meant 'Rising Water'....surprise!

In their defense, the city hasn't seen anything like this in over 150 years.....so it was difficult to really believe it could "happen to us". I think Irene was hyped up to be as big a deal last year and it was not a big deal.

Until I saw the pictures, I couldn't believe it either. :)
