GREAT job! Looks very nice and I hope it runs as well as it looks for you! I do have one question - in album II, photo 79 (of 123) with the header about to be attached to the cylinder head... Several clues in the photo seem to indicate that this is the *front* cylinder bank, yet the cylinder numbers showing on the cam cover say 3 and 4 (I've always thought the front bank was 5-8). In other photos of the *rear* bank, the cam cover also appears to show 1-4, though I didn't see a photo close up enough to tell for sure. Guessing I'm just confused somewhere?? I'll also be interested to hear how that A/C works for you. We all know how notoriously difficult 308s are to cool in the summertime! Looks great - thanks again for sharing the pics! George P. |
