The NY/NJ race needed to happen.....not this cow-pasture in Texas. Might as well have held this thing in Darlington, SC - maybe the noise would have confused the inebriated locals, and gotten them to show up thinking they were headed to another NASCRAP bumper-car exhibition.
FAIL.
AND....they initially wanted to hold this in the Summertime? Don't tell me that any facet of this was well-planned. Tickets were THIS price - then THAT price, then this package over here....never-mind the thin ribbon of two-lane blacktop taking people in/out of this bottleneck. Had anyone actually wanted to go there, it would have resembled Woodstock - all the BAD parts of it, without the peace, free-love, or drugs.
Wow, I feel better. Time to go drive the Ferrari.
