they said 85,000 for qualifying. I think this will be a good event, wish it was closer and they could have made the track even slippier so my team has a chance!!!  HAAAAA

the track looks good, hope our guys do good. wish I was there, never been to a GP.....

I hope it works out seems like they have a large calendar of events. FWIW what was the price for a reasonable ticket?

The NY/NJ race needed to happen.....not this cow-pasture in Texas.  Might as well have held this thing in Darlington, SC - maybe the noise would have confused the inebriated locals, and gotten them to show up thinking they were headed to another NASCRAP bumper-car exhibition.

FAIL.

AND....they initially wanted to hold this in the Summertime?  Don't tell me that any facet of this was well-planned.  Tickets were THIS price - then THAT price, then this package over here....never-mind the thin ribbon of two-lane blacktop taking people in/out of this bottleneck.  Had anyone actually wanted to go there, it would have resembled Woodstock - all the BAD parts of it, without the peace, free-love, or drugs.

Wow, I feel better.  Time to go drive the Ferrari.

This would have been an excellent race to attend....

If you lived in Austin.
