Agreed. I normally don't go through that many
exhaust changes on one car.
But, I do feel that the "sounds" a car makes is a
very big part of the overall sports car
experience for me, along with a MANUAL
transmission.

headers. Exhaust experimentation is my least favorite way to waste time

I had a 512BBi for five years and put over
18K miles on it. During that time, I tried three different
exhaust
systems.
1. The stock Euro system (no cats or air pump)
was too quiet for me.
2. I installed a two canister stainless steel
Larini System
from the UK. Much better sound, but not
quite aggressive enough for my taste.
3. Larini built me a custom single canister
system. This time is was a bit too LOUD and I
was going to have it modified with additional
baffles, but I ended up selling the car in 2008.
