After getting 10 inches of snow in Boston-MetroWest it was time to awaken the Beast (36" 11hp tractor treaded Honda snowblower) who had rested quietly for almost a year in the garden shed.  Open the gas petcock, pull on the choke and the damn thing rumbled to life first try on year old gas.  Cleared 2500sf of driveway in 30 minutes at half throttle.  Sometimes it makes sense to buy a Honda.

Well today was the day......
Battery fully charged, 5 runs to the gas station and back over the past 6 days to get 6 litres of good high octane gas each time tp add to the tank...

Battery in..., water and tyres cheaked.
Turn the key and let the fuel pump run for a good 30 seconds or more...
Three pushes on the throttle....
Turn the key and it TRIED to start....

One more push on the throttle and turn the key for the second time and it fired right up!!

Just got back from covering 81 miles, some of it at 100mph. (I try and get at least one burst to 100 in each drive)

Ran without fault.
Now back to bed....
