Agreed on the qualifying.... But considering the odd conditions that ensued due to weather, what could they do?   

On the other hand, if I can't watch events live, I follow live timing and scoring online so there is never a spoiler problem. 

Hence, I've never really bought in to the spoiler alerts for those who wait 3 days to watch the greatest (IMHO) live event there is.

I thought the coverage was good - and thought it was a great race.  I was pissed, however, that when I went to the NBC SportsChannel webpage to confirm the updated schedule, they had the qualifying results (for the qualifying that they had not shown yet) up in a bold face headline.  Way to take all the anticipation out of qualifying, rat bastards.

Same basic world feed, so the broadcast feel is mostly unchanged. I did like that Sam Posey's opening montage was kept. F1 Extra after the broadcast was nice touch. Got to hear from some of the other drivers after the race. The prerace coverage in the studio is different. Got all of the broadcast team now wearing suits and ties!

I like Lee Diffey, but he can get a bit over excited in his commentary -- something Varsha never did.

During practice, the timing/scoring order was practically covering the middle of the picture. That is a world feed issue, though.

Can't wait for next weekend. Bring it ON! Go Ferrari!

Just what do you think about the coverage? I enjoyed the 1st practice, Speed showed only highlights of 1st practice.

I thought they did a good job of covering Qualifying considering the 2 day event ( I would have preferred LIVE coverage - but the Soccer Fans would not agree) they used the scheduled time for rerunning previous F1 to show the 2nd day of qualfying.

 

There was referance Bob by Lee that Bob would be there Maylasia, did anybody else catch that?

 

IMHO over all it was Great coverage ad a Great race.
