I had a couple of rolls of silver dimes I wanted to unload recently - pre-WWII dimes in circulated condition, so they were only worth their weight against today's bulk silver price.  I took them to a place that deals with bulk coins as well as recycled metals to be counted and measured.

Good news is, my 'guy' is well-connected in the Gold Coin market, and can put you in-touch with some dealers who are experts and deal internationally with a wide variety of clients.  He can be found here:  http://www.yelp.com/biz/northeast-precious-metals-worcester

Bad news is, since stocks on Wall Street have rallied past 15K, the dollar value of gold and silver has fallen - and its still falling.  The peak price was three years ago, its gone down ever since.

hi gang - sorry about posting off topic - I have some 1 oz gold coins and looks like I may need to sell a couple to appease the tax man.  (Or maybe i should keep the coins and find the money elsewhere?)  ;-)

What's the best way to sell 1 or 2 and do it safely and get the best price?

Thanks!
Larry
