The buyer was Lawrence Stroll.

I had a chance to meet Eddie and see the car in-person during a FCA track meet back in 96-97.  Eddie was 80, and still driving the NART Spyder with his foot to the floor.  I have quite a few photos of the car somewhere, along with Eddie in his nomex next to the car.  I should look for those.

$200k for a NART Spyder?

I'll take one...

$27 mil seemed a little wild. Then again the buyer has major $$$.

My guess was $7-9mil.

So, here is my question,

Are the cars worth these numbers or is money just plain worth far less than it was a year ago?

I love the cars but hate what the auctions are doing, the cars are rapidly disappearing into vaults

Those of you who made the Nationals, did you see the 250 GTO clone that appears to have been a featured car?

Disappointing.
