I've owned my 1999 360 for almost 5 years.  So far it has been very reliable.  The only issue I have run into has been an emissions related Check Engine Light. I thought it was fixed but it has come back. Mine is going back to my independent guy next month for the belt service and he is going to fix this CEL issue once and for all. Some people claim the 1999's are the fastest because they don't have the pre-cats.  I honestly don't know as I have only driven my 360.

Unfortunately I am splitting the driving between the 360 my '85 308 and my '71 Detomaso Pantera so it could be I am just not driving it long enough to notice any problems.  So far I wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive it cross country.
