Picture this, in the early 90âs I stumbled across a fellow selling a TAG Porsche Turbo engine â no guts but everything else. ÂI snagged it. ÂTurns out per Porsche it was one of Alain Prostâs engines with two wins. Much later I heard recordings of him at Imola â thinking I would hear something like the current engine screams I was sorely disappointed to hear only a burrrRRRRRRup.

The new motors sound great...  If you close your eyes and imagine you are watching MotoGP!

 

I sure hope the V12s reappear someday...<sigh>

watching practice made me almost sick! What a let down. How can you ruin the sound of a V6. I remeber the turbo V6's in the 90's and they

had a way more radical sound. The car looked like they were going much slower too, I know they said they were actually faster on the straight

but it sure did not look like it. I have seen the future and it does not look good. Glad I at least was around for the good old days!

 

Hey if history repeats itself does this mean that after this debacle they are going back to V12's!!!!!!
