I liked the olden days â you know, like in the 1980âs F1. Ferrari even tried out a Comprex Supercharger. Saw it at Long Beach GP. Very complex and didnât work too well, and they didnât race it that weekend. ÂSome Ferrari dealer even gave Giles a red 308 with his name written on the door. Thatâs how I knew it was Giles as he passed us pedestrians â then he ducked into a drive way pulling a 90 degree turn in front of traffic on Pacific Ave - - - in FRONT of a ton of traffic. My my. I think that was the same weekend Lotus had their twin chassis ÂLotus 88. Tried it for a few laps and then parked it. Ach, those were the days. DOUG

Of course there qualifying engines, race engines that were lucky to finish 1 race. I agree, it looks to be an interesting season (after Mercedes). All we need is an engine sound effects app for our tv and we're sure to enjoy the season!!!

The first two races were boring and the Ferrari List was as quiet as a tomb. Yesterday's race was anything but boring and the List has reacted. I had doubts about this season from the start but now I'm really excited about it. I can hardly wait 3 weeks!
