Its cyclical with all these teams (think Williams and McLaren).?The ban on off-season testing may play a big roll. It makes for car designs more-or-less locked in place without ground truth to validate the designs. There are just too many variables plus a sizable dose of chaos, to design a car totally in the computer. As they say; Practice always work in theory, but theory doesn't always work in practice! And that's hard for me to admit being a rock physics modeller!
