I feel the same about DRS - if they are allowed to have it, then the drivers should have the ability to use it whether they want - whether they are in front, behind or are within a second of each other. and the rules about the way tires must be used is silly. But we've had this conversation before...

I'm sorry, this whole crusade against "moveable aerodynamic devices" is a bit two faced. They
"ban" something that makes little (albeit critical) difference in attitude but they "promote"
DRS... So not only do they sanction a huge piece of moveable aero but they don't even invoke it equitably... It can
only be used by the trailing driver. If they want an F'ing "driver's series" why don't they just merge with
IndyCar. No, they'd rather $hit on innovation. I hate what Charlie and Bernie have done to the sport.

They should go to solid tires too. No more deflection dive under braking and
get rid of those pesky pit stops. One set of tires for 5 races.

Like FRIC, the FIA has determined that ride height, front to rear, changes
under braking and therefore constitutes a movable aerodynamic device. So from
this weekend on, brakes will be outlawed.
