Thanks everyone. My error. My post was hasty. The Ents would not approve. I was apparently wrong.

Last night I did a quick DirecTV scroll through the menu only to discover the little orange 'double R ball' on the 11am rerun of the race. That means it will record the series. My DVR is set to record only the first run of a show and not fill the drive with re-runs. It also isn't smart enough, or the TIVO codes aren't consistant, to channel hop. The DVR hadn't chosen to record the live run on another channel, 'thinking' the rerun was a first run.

So what the hell. It will just be another Charlie-show, interpreting the rules to narrow the points spread, or to give Seb yet another break. Perhaps the DVR will capture the whole race and pehaps I'll watch it later. Sometimes the reruns have little bits cut out. (Next time you watch the races on rerun, check the lap timer. Sometimes the on track time is greater than the elapsed time during the commercial breaks! The small bits edited out appear to add up to enough time to squeeze in yet one more advertisment for 'So You Think Anyone Cares if You Can Dance'.)

I'm off to the garage to bleed the clutch hydraulics in Matt's-my-Dave's-my-Ed's Mondial QV. Sounds like more fun.
