i stumbled across a Caterham offering of what looks like a LM
Prototype - kit is built for a 2.0T Ford 4 cyl - but I bet others
would fit also. Unfortunately, it's a "track only" car so
something else for the road will have to be found. IMO a 206P or
even a 330P4 or similar modified for the road would be great but I'm
launching into a whole 'nuther conversation! Modifying a street
car by changing out the engine is a big job but making a race car
road worthy is a order of magnitude greater. The Acsari, and the cars you mentioned: Noble and Ultima are all awesome cars! But when considering upgrading the engine of virtually any car, the engineering and manufacturing costs always brings reality back into the picture and makes me reconsider.
