The engine came out of a wrecked 93 512 TR

You could eat off the car !

The engine is perfect and the head job on a 512 is way more than I paid for this mint engine 

With less labour I might add which is where the cost is

I can't imagine even a used TR motor is cheaper than an upper end rebuild ...

The last major service I did showed that the exhaust valves seats were going

This would involve a head job ( did I just says that)

And that would involve more than I want to do

Anyway I found a 93 512 TR engine with 16K on it

I just split the transmission on that car since that needed to be sold

Took load of pictures of the job

I will complete my transfusion this winter of the new engine into my car

Can’t wait
