Why don't you have them rechrome ? That's what I
did on my 308. And the black paint running in the middle, I did it myself. A lot
cheaper.

Subject: [Ferrari] 308 Rear badges
For the first time in my 17 years of ownership of my 107k mile Euro 308,
I'm having it professionally detailed. As part of that, I'm considering
purchasing new rear badges. Specifically the 308 and the quattrovalvole
badges, and perhaps the Ferrari script (the latter only because one of the
legs on it is nearly broken off and I can't fasten it properly to keep it
affixed firmly.
Mainly I'm looking for a source with the lowest price but proper quality.
For example, I've looked at the 308 badge and found the following options:
Rutlands is $357.45 (although out of stock) but from Superformance it is $82.
Is this emblem plastic or metal? Is the quality of Superformance's the same as
OEM, or are they providing a plastic part to replace a metal part? Ricambi has
it for $407!?!
For the quattrovalvole script on the rear, $89.06 from Rutlands (out of
stock) and $107 from Superformance. Ricambi's price is "call."
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks!
