The AC in my Fiat 500 is an advancement.

The AC in my wife's Fiat 500L came out of a 512 BB. Fncking dog breathing over 3 ice cubes...

You gots that right Stephen.  I look back on my own brief spot in the cosmos when I had a new 1966 VW.  Change the oil every 3,000 miles and plugs, points, condenser, oil, and valve lash check at 6,000.  Carb rebuild in the summer or at Easter vacation.  Just ‘cause.

Ayep – now I get in our 1971 Porsche 911 and if I want the windows down – wind them down.  Up?  Wind them up.  Secure the car?  Lock it.  Listen to the radio?  Enjoy mono/single speaker AM-FM.  Air-conditioning?  Wind the window down.

Our ’78 GTS is nearly all of the above except the windows.  Well, at least one side works.  But oil changes door hinge zerk fittings abound.  Heh heh

Onward

DOUG
