Martin notes “There is no such thing as "commercial" refrigerant so he's probably referring to R134a. “ Building refrigerants aren’t under the gun as automobile refrigerants are. Why? Buildings don’t move about, aren’t susceptible collisions and aren’t susceptible to the vibrations of an automobile. The light bulb builder guys are faced with the same vibration problems House light bulbs vs Auto light bulbs. Um, that said – there ARE R12 like building refrigerants. But it ain’t the same as auto R12. Sorta like getting leaded 100 + octane air plane fuel. Exactly the same as your neighborhood pump gas except for the differences. Heh heh DOUG |
