Erik et. al.,
This is one of the main reasons I only wear the G-Ps for special occasions. That and G-P screwed us over on the F360GT "Pit Crew" watches - promised "lifetime warranty" (to include routine servicing), and then reneged when top management at G-P/US changed. So I sent the new top guy a nice note (with photo!) thanking him, because I loved my then-new Tag Carrera! I still have the 2 G-Ps, now have 3 Tags, and one radio-controlled Citizen Eco-Drive (and a few other odds and ends, but nothing really of note). If the Citizen dies, I'll get over it, but I really like the Tags, so I'm hoping that they're more the "Porsche" of the watch world, than "Ferrari" (G-P). gp > > Just a rant, but if you think belts on a 308 are expensive, I just was quoted $2788.54 for a movement service for a Girard Perregaux 275LM watch. > > Anyone want to buy it from me, this is beyond ridiculous... > > Regards, > Erik > |
