Hi Friends,

Thinking about Clyde installing his TR's 'new' engine changed my workplan for today. Earlier I intended to just jump the TR battery and motor on. But Clyde inspired me. Woah! Did I just say that?! ;-) Actually, without getting sappy, Clyde is an inspiration to us all - even if we often disagree!

I removed the mostly depleted but new-ish battery from the car and brought it home - the battery, that is, not the TR. Its on the charger now getting a feeding. Perhaps tomorrow it will be fully topped up and ready to go back in the car. Once the car is back home, I think its mini-minor service time (sans cam belt and valve adjustment). That work will have to wait until after Xmas, since I don't have a lift. A good cleaning, filters and fresh oil is good for now.
