Our red guys need to step up their game to be better than 4^th, so I’m not sure Honda is pushing them any more than Marchionne would anyway.

 

I’d love to think that Honda wouldn’t be coming back without a strongly competitive package, but we did see Toyota spend $1B+ to be an “also ran” for several seasons.

 

I’m more interested to see if anyone comes up with an out-of-the-box drivetrain improvement or if everyone will just be copying Mercedes’ split turbo this year, like they did with Red Bull’s diffuser advantage a couple of years back.

 

And by your subject line, I thought you were talking about this, which I guess is also telling…

Any thoughts about McLaren's competitiveness in light of Honda power and two world champion drivers? My initial thoughts are that the boys in red had better step up their game!
