Sorry I guess I got the story wrong.
re the guys on the show - they (those kinds of shows) always seem to
have 2 guys like that - one reasonably intelligent and the other a
loose cannon. I guess they want to show a certain kind of combat
between the two main characters. "Idiot of epic scale" is a great
description.
There's another show where they buy old POS's and paint them, cobble
them together and sell them -- IMO the buyers are getting taken.

I thought that was the car....
I've seen about 3 episodes of their show and while the young
guy with the long beard does great work, the main protagonist is
an idiot of epic scale. I knew that repair was in trouble when
their "Ferrari expert" showed up. It was a serious wreck and
should have been parted out....

And abortion is the right word. Pretty sure this car was
featured on TV with work done by the gas monkey guys. They
hacked the hell out of it. No respect for the name Ferrari.

Hold on,
I thought that was an 88 Testarossa with that price and
miles.
I thought I saw a no sale F40 at $975k that didn't meet
reserve. I think F40 prices are in $1.5MM territory these
days.
I could be wrong because I was also watching
Northeastern/UVM hockey on my tablet and Bruins/Blue
Jackets hockey on another channel.
Can anyone confirm one or the other?
