There was a recent blind test of several concert violinist who were asked to play recent modern violins vs those multi million dollar old world Stradivarius and see if they could tell the difference And the answer shocked the music world Not only could they not tell the difference but the newer ones played better and sounded better than the so called multi million dollar violins ( OMG say it isn't so) So once again the hype of old has been torn down It hasn't hit the art world but it will when Gen Xers see there kids can paint just like Matese on drugs! Old Ferraris are just that old cars pure and simple The wealthy have driven the market up for there own cause For what ever that might be , because eventually the Gen X crowd who is already out there with more NEW money than any of the old guard ever had isn't playing the game And the emperor will have no clothes ! As it should be Sorry for the long diatribe but as for this car it will take at least $500k to make it a winner and you have to ask your self is it worth it? Bragging rights among the Ferrari Ascot crowd with the dumb blonde on your arm, yep there is your guy And you know there are a lot of women out there with deep pockets But you don't see them buying old wheels for stupid money Makes you wonder if they are the smarter sex after all ! So bottom line $187K large for a 40 plus year old car with no Air, no power steering, bad brakes bad sound system, no this, no that...... In actually it's a fantastic parts car ! Got to hit the beach Guys I am in SBH ! In victory you deserve Champagne In defeat you need it! Scars are Tattoos with better stories ! If you follow all the rules You miss all the fun!
