My wife died 10 years ago... Don't know why, but I took my watch off that 
afternoon and haven't worn one since.   Watched the launch when they introduced 
the Apple watch and just did nothing for me.  Had nothing to do with not 
needing a watch.  I retired from the tech industry and just because some 
technologies *can* be developed, doesn't mean they should...

A friend's kid came home from the gamers conference in SF this week and came 
over to show me "Google Cardboard".  They were giving them away.    3D VR you 
can run on your phone jammed in a cardboard box with Velcro, a rubber band and 
a magnetic washer.   Amazing.
