How do I copy a u tube video ?
I've used the free website KeepVid.com. It lets you save the video in the MP4 format and a couple of others as well.
Enter the URL of the YouTube video, then click the gray Download button to the right of where you entered the URL. That'll give you a list of formats to choose from. Click on the format you prefer and the video downloads to your computer.
One big note. They have advertisements on the site that feature very large "download now" buttons. Those are there to trick you into clicking on them, they're really spam garbage ads. The ONLY Download button you want to click on is the one to the immediate right of where you entered the URL.
If you use the Mozilla browser, I've use an extension called "Flash and Video Download" that works pretty well.
