Hi Frends,

So sorry for to hear George's terrible story. We're British car friends as well
as Ferrari guys. I certainly wish him the best as he recovers.

About 3pm yesterday, Ric Rainbolt and his wife Wendy arrived at our home in
Houston. They spent the night and didn't have to leave until 6pm today! We had
a lot of catching up to do!

Ric is still driving his 360 Modena. I still have my 308GTB and Testarossa. At
one point or other over the past two decades, Ric had owned both of my
Ferraris, so he was keen to see them. That we did, and the other eight cars!
Sadly, it rained off and on so we didn't drive the F-cars but did put a quite a
few miles on the Cayman.

Ric soon learned the TipTronix gearbox on my older mid-engine P-Bug. It doesn't
have conventional paddles as newer cars do, but rather, thumb paddle switches
on the wheel. Once mastered, Ric terrorized a few of the northwest Houston back
roads!

And that's it. Two old car guy friends, telling stories and playing with toys.
Great fun.

Thinking of George,

-rick
