        A favorite site of mine for 12v electric info is The 12v.com 
(http://www.the12volt.com/).  The site is aimed mostly at installers of car 
stereo & video, car alarms, etc.  Lots of useful info, though, dealing with 
12v electrics.  Covers relays, Ohm's law, diodes, resistors, etc.
        Under the relay section it has wiring diagrams for all sorts of 
cool stuff you can do with relays.  Starter interrupts, switching polarity, 
adding power door locks and a hundred other applications.
