Yea, but the ones you have are awesome.
I don't own that many pairs of shoes let alone cars !Clyde RomeroIf you have no enemiesYou have no character !In Victory you deserve ChampagneIn Defeat You Need It!If you obey all the rulesYou miss all the fun !Hey Humes,
I thought I would take a moment to talk about cars. So here are some Ferrari words and other marque words. First up, the Testarossa.
My '85 Testarossa is a pretty cool car. Right now it would benefit from a nice bath and a bit of exercise. Only failing is a leaky injector. Occasionally the engine offers a pretty big bang when first starting.
I'm still waiting for TXDOT to return the title papers for my '85 Maserati Biturbo E. I can't drive it until then. It is, however, fully serviced and ready to go!
The '79 308GTB is just awesome, as usual. It too could benefit from a bath.
My '78 Lotus Esprit S2 just needs exercise and continued attention to cosmetics. It has big U.S. bumpers that need to be replaced, only because they are butt-ugly.
Reaching further back, the '73 Jaguar E-Type is running great. The interior freshening is stalled but could restart at any moment after...
...the '73 Volvo 1800ES that needs to be finished. There are bits of trim yet to be installed and some detective work needed on the D-Jetronic fuel injection. Its ignoring the temperature sensors.
The '69 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is just lovely. One of the Shrader valves in the A/C needs to be replaced. That will happen before summer arrives.
The '62 Triumph TR3b has come back to life! I just rebuilt the cooling system, complete with a new waterpump, all new hoses and clamps. Yet to do is a system flush and refill with fresh coolant.
And finally, the '53 MG TD is going back together. All repair and refinishing work is done. Some assembly required.
Add in two daily drivers, a Highlander and a 987, and the scuderia is covered. And that's it. Bring on 2016!
