How many of you remember the crazy late 80's when the old man died and 308's were going for close to 6 figures

And people came out of the wood works to buy any Ferrari they could get there hands on

The dealers were all smoking crack

Ferrari market news letter was a bookies crib sheet with there moon shot asking price index

We even had some sales man Pogues on the list

I distinctly remember some poor sales clown stating that

"Ferrari will never make more than 5000 cars a year"

I wonder what that clown is doing now ?

Probably sales manager at a VW dealership 

What strikes me about that time was how people went berserk over the cars!

Paying way over sticker for the new ones and then the bottom fell out

Oh well 

Clyde going into the new year in Paris
