Late 30's and early 40's hot rods.  Those were exciting times Todd - Dad had
a Lincoln Zephyr in 1943.  
Your grandfather did a right nice job on both cars.
Someplace there is a picture of me sitting on the fender next to dad in his
AAF uniform.  
Clearly the car bug bit me in arse early on.

PS - I believe it is impossible to do an easy 'frame off' restoration on the
early Conty.  The body was welded to the frame - - - no rattles was the
plan.

         Minor claim to fame: my grandfather worked for Henry Ford, was one
of the lead draftsmen on the Zephyr and first Lincoln Continental.
