Both series of the TR are vast improvements over the BB
Just look at the specs
It speaks volumes
There some guy here in the Atlanta area who thru $500k at one making it a super car
Wins all the concours etc
A true poseur with deep pockets who gets pissed when he doesn't win the 1 st prize

I love the Jotas CG, but damn that's an insane price.......

Lately I've been more practical in the Diablo love and figured an SV or just a nicely modified 2wd. The '96 is the unicorn car because you get the same drivetrain as a '91, but with VT interior. Mod the rear bumper, brakes, etc. and you get a cool sleeper Diablo, albeit without the cool intakes of the SV or Jota.

As for the Boxer, of course CR won't agree......but a few of us do! Make fun of the BB.....the TR now costs a fortune....how much better are they really as cars??

Right around the time that you probably got your 355, I remember seeing a black Daytona coupe in the wild for the first time......guy would drive it to this restaurant near my house quite often. At the time the 355 and Daytona probably were neck in neck with prices. I still had the craziness to want the Daytona a little more back then....just on the car itself, not on any calculated predictions.

A year or two from now we'll probably be talking about the good ole days of 348 pricing, hehe....:)

Some pretty crazy Ferrari transactions too:

cLyDe – Please see the 550 Barchetta selling price, the 575 SuperAmerica and maybe the Dino 206GT. I await your diatribes with huge anticipation!  J

Really wish I’d bought the 512BBis I was looking at when I instead bought the 355. They were mid 80’s at the time.

I also would REALLY have liked to have this, although I don’t think I would’ve gone $13k+ for it:
