Go into programming mode and turn off the X-band. That should get rid of most
of the false alarms

I had mine upgraded about 3 months ago and I still get it lot of false alarms driving through the city. Maybe I need to send it back. Mark

Agree. The latest V1 is fantastic!

Since used V1s do really well on eBay, I sold my old V1 for $200 and then bought a brand new one ($400)
direct from Valentine about six months ago.

I saved about $100 doing that, compared to sending in my old unit for an upgrade ($300).

I finally gave in and sent the unit in for an upgrade.  Just could not take the constant blapping from lane monitoring and cruise control systems.  Made my commute pretty much a non-stop beep fest.  But, I never wanted to turn it off, and then forget to turn it back on.

New unit 100% improvement.  In Full Logic mode, blissful silence - except three actual bogeys on my way to work this morning.

Glad to have done it.  In case anyone was wondering if the most recent upgrades are worth it.
