I don’t dislike the 488, but the J50 is so much prettier on the same chassis. Wonder why they didn’t keep that for the production design…

Wow, this is pretty slick looking. I like.
 
Japan has received over the years a couple of dedicated models. I've only seen references in Cavallino to a 512 TR Speciale (15 examples), a 355 "Special Edition" (20 examples) and more recently of the California 30 "Giappone".
 
Although I haven't actively looked for them, I haven't come across those for sale on a few of the Japanese ad sites. What makes those special/different from the other market cars?
