Wow, imagine that!  This couldn't be the first time a Ferrari's been wrecked by a driver trying to impress a girl, could it?  Oops, no, I know it's happened at no fewer than two dealerships.....   Here's the stories as told to me, both involved pretty young thing in passenger seat:

1.  Used TR for sale at non-F dealership.  Salesman begs and begs and begs and begs to drive it, until sales manager finally relents.  Leaving parking lot (on major 4-lane thoroughfare), driver guns it.  Car leaps across all four lanes and slams, LF tire first, into 3-4" high curbing on the far side.  Wheel?  Wrecked.  Front fascia?  Wrecked.  Front undertray?  Wrecked.  And probably substantial suspension/steering damage, as well.

2.  Tech at F-dealership takes 360 out for test drive.  Car comes back all banged up, claim  is "deer" (on a warm, clear, urban day).  Dealership insurance buys wreckage from customer and car requires full stripping, body work, repaint.  Car is resold to another customer (with full disclosure)  wanting to get onto the F430 waiting list.

Fools.

Anyone else have stories to share?
