It is owned by her family to this day.
The controversy surrounding this car also concerns colour... When it was displayed at Pebble in 1973, it lost a couple of points because the valve covers were painted wrinkle black - part of the restoration that was performed when it was taken out of storage
in the '70s. The judges deemed it incorrect as Lampredi V-12s always had that natural, aluminum finish. The restorer flipped out when he learned of the deduction and subsequently ripped two long patches of the greenway off of the golf course when he was driving
the car back to the trailer. The judges felt embarrassed and disappointed when that occurred and paid for the damage. When one of the judges recalled the incident in Cavallino magazine (#73 Feb/Mar 1993), he said it was virtually a three-way tie for first
place and this car placed third because of the valve covers.
As far as I know, this car has not been shown publicly since.

That was a Mrs. Day and the car was a yellow/green 375MM Spyder. I believe she lived in Nevada (Reno?)

Picture this – I seem to recall some high falutin princess in the ‘50’s or 60’s wanted Enzo to build her a Ferrari. NO he kindly said, flicking his chin with his open
hand at her. OH PAHlease she begged and wouldn’t leave him alone. Oh OK Enzo relented and he did – a yellow something (275?) with green interior. Apparently she accepted the car as is and drove until she tired of it – maybe a full two weeks (Princes’ are
like that). Subsequently owner #2 changed it to something more conventional – Red/black? Black/black? Silver/black? Whatever. Now thumb a few years later and allegedly the last owner returned the vehicle to its nostalgic historical color – yellow/green.
Fill in the missing data as you wish – I always like correct history. Yer on.

I recall that the one that photoshopped it is a Harvard Law grad…
Wasn't it this Hello Kitty TR that started the whole "you-can't-have-it-in-this-colour" deal? I seem to remember Ferrari threatening the owner to remove it...

I guess they forgot about this one.....
It begs the question about how many pink Ferraris have been sold?
And the next step is some dude buying a Ferrari and wrapping it in pink
just to make a statement...
