I have been fairly quiet lately but have had a lot going on in the last year ... we sold our other building and moved to a new location, sold another one of our family businesses and celebrated my companies 20th anniv in Sept.    Lot going on!

CIS Flowtech is owned/operated by Larry Fletcher. I don't know him, I have never had him service anything for me, but his name gets passed around a lot on the F car blogs. Supposedly a super nice guy, one of the few left that will actually talk to you about stuff over the phone. He is located in Alabama.

As for my personal experience with CIS, failures are generally due to trashy fuel. You are correct, injectors are generic. Next to that, the warm up regulator seems to give problems, generally due to a failed diaphragm. Not supposed to be a serviceable part but according to aforementioned sites, this guy can fix them. Fuel distributors don't generally give trouble, unless full of trash. Again, not supposed to be a serviceable part, but Larry can rebuild them. Frequency valves work as a part of the feedback system. Key on, they buzz and you can feel/hear them operating. Some electronics on the 1985 CIS-E systems, but generally not the problem with no-starts. Of course, the fuel pump has to work before anything else will.

Might be worth a call to Larry just to see what he has to say.

Hope this helps. Also, I always enjoy and respect your input into the worldwide aspects of the Ferrari car market.
