You working as a tech now? I thought you were retired?

As for pricing, most people don’t realize that they’re so many Ferraris around now. The cat’s out of the bag with solid rumours that the dreaded SUV is in the works. 10K car/year is only the start. But, there’s so much money being printed nowadays, gotta spend it somewhere...

Although I understand the premium for manual cars as I wouldn’t touch an F1 car with a ten-foot pole. Electronics, hydraulics, obsolete parts, etc. At least with a stick, you’re only dealing with a clutch assembly and in the future, if need be, if OEM clutch parts become obsolete, an aftermarket clutch can always be adapted. The F1 system isn’t easy on clutches either (the non-DCT systems)! In fact, they often have shorter life-spans compared to those cars whose owners know how to drive a stick. So that, plus all of the other BS associated with F1 as I mentioned. No thanks. When I was manning the gate at our local Italian car show last year, a guy with a 355 F1 pulled up and I waved him in. He stopped to ask where to go on the field and I told him. When he pulled away, he inched it forward and that car, lurched and hopped and was all over the place with RPM. You could smell the phenolic resins of that clutch disc just getting smoked. Yikes.

I’ll keep my high-mileage, non-Classiche 308 and enjoy an easy, inexpensive life.

Subject: [Ferrari] Pricing gone mad

Ok

So I am working part time as a tech at an independent dealer of Ferrari’s

I got bored not working

I get the FML as a perk

So I am thumbing thru the pricing

Asking price bullshit ( my god haven’t they learned after 40 plus years)

You have 550 going for more than 575 ?

A lesser car going for more than an improved model, only in Ferrari Land

And some idiots that have 6 speed 575 are asking are you ready for this $278K for a 16 year old car with unknown miles on it

Special needs buyers need not apply!

But wait it gets better the superamerica crowd is doing meth !

Yes they want $399k for a car that has known history with a bad roof!

This is the Hubble Telescope of cars from Italy!

Please someone out there speak up!

And the GTC4 Lusso crowd is playing Russian roulette with an automatic

When have you ever heard or seen a 4 seat Ferrari bring money back to the table?

Let me refresh your memory 456/ 612 Scaglietti both have resale values of a YUGO!

These clowns are asking $300+ for a 2017

And one of the cars is white with a red interior (pimp mobile)

And it’s in North Carolina no less !

Does the Christian Collation know of this?

Why are the cars with 6 speeds bring crazy prices?

Most of the people buying these cars can’t drive a stick!

The biggest repairs on 6 speeds is clutch replaced ...

Look at all the listings prior to the F1 transmission

Why not just take the $100 bills and start a fire in stead.

But where the insanity really lies is in the 488 market

Used cars going for $325+

Some of them 3 years old

Yes Virginia over 300 large for a used car that if your brought it back to the dealer you would get 60% of that back!

Yea buddy

The idiots are back big time!

Got to go

It’s hump day
