As an engineer I am a firm believer in “form follows function”.   So the looks of the car means little (to me).   But I must admit, the new driver protection halo make the car look like a giant red flip-flop.

I can’t help but be disappointed with each passing year, the cars keep getting uglier and uglier.

 

I realize it’s all in the name of max efficiency and speed (sure, throw in safety too), but geez, I think even air itself would want to avoid touching the car at all (I can hear it say: “eeeww, gross”)!
